Amberley Pottery Now Available At Amberley Village Stores. A Beautiful Unique Gift That Any Loved One Would Enjoy To Receive
The Amberley Potters make country pottery for the table and all domestic use, with 'one off' pieces made to order for special occasions and personal collections. The range of dinner
ware, tea services, cookware and decorative items is always changing and you are welcome to browse the current stock in the working pottery in the village of Amberley near Arundel, West Sussex.
Because we make a wide range of pots we don't always have everything in stock. A phone call before traveling a distance would be a good idea. Our pots love the dishwasher and the glazes are oven to
tableware safe. Please allow 5-8 weeks for commission & special orders. Brian Murray watercolours of the village are also available. Traditional materials are used
including clays from Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and glazes made in the workshop from naturally occurring pigments and minerals. Colours come from metal oxides, such as cobalt,
copper and members of the iron family. The pretty village of Amberley with its thatched cottages, Norman church, village shop, two pubs, a tearoom and mediaeval castle, now a country house
hotel, is always a pleasure to visit.
